Regular Season Round 12: Krka - Igokea 80-85

Very predictable result in Novo Mesto where seventh ranked BosnianIgokea (7-5) beat 13th ranked Slovenian Krka (3-9) 85-80 on Saturday. Igokea forced 19 Krka turnovers. Strangely Krka outrebounded Igokea 33-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Terrell Carter II (208-1996, college: Fresno St.) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and the other American import point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) who added 11 points and 6 assists during the contest. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was forward Robert Jurkovic (199-2002) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Tayler Persons (191-1995, college: Ball St., agency: Players Group) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Five Igokea and four Krka players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Spartak and FMP BG. Loser Krka keeps the thirteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Borac.
